Wendy Lee Cornett, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018
at Gerald Cemetery.
Wendy was born November 30, 1957 in Tennessee. She worked in
the mail room at Waco Tribune Herald for 33 years until retiring. She was a
very strong person who never stopped fighting. She enjoyed reading, fishing and
playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson and
Edna JoAnn (O'Brien) Hooten; and a sister, Gwen Hooten.
Survivors include her son, William Cornett; her daughter,
Angela Broadus; her sister, Patricia Kelley; her brothers, Michael Hooten and
Andy Hooten; and her grandchildren, Kristopher Broadus and Kerstin Anderson.
