Nana, I knew you loved me since I was born, but I have loved you my whole life. When you passed away, it hurt deeply. I still ache with pain to think that you have gone. I cannot change what fate may bring or mourn for what has passed. My comfort comes from memories, the special kind that last. You were one incredible woman and I was lucky to have you as my great grandma, I will miss you Nana!

    My Grandma,
Her smile could light up a room,
    her presence was of grace.
Her opinions were heard without one word,
but by the look upon her face.
    Her touch was so gentle,
Her heart was as big as the moon.
Her spirit was kind-hearted & was
    warm as a summer's afternoon.
    It's always sad but comforting
to silently recall your smile, &
familiar face so loved by one & all.
For the world may keep turning &
    change from day to day,
    but precious memories of you
    will never fade away.
    Dear grandma,
    although you are at rest,
you'll live forever in the hearts
of those that loved you best.
I will miss you greatly grandma.

I only knew Mrs. Baldwin for a short time. And after all the stories I've heard about what a wonderful person she was I wish I could have gotten to know her better. My thoughts are with the family. I know she will be missed by all who knew her.

Rachel was my amazing grandmother. Not only that, she held detailed accounts of our family & everything around her in her memory. There was always an intriguing story to every single thing, be it a set of crystal stemware, a dish set she pieced & matched together over the years, what happened the day a certain picture was taken, article of clothing or a piece of furniture to people she knew or someone she met once or maybe never even met but only saw. She also LOVED her kitties! She cared for them as she did her own children...well, they were her children. They always lived very long & healthy lives. As a matter of fact, my sister & myself have adopted her last 2 when she passed. She was a great fighter, a pillar of strength. Its definitely where my mother got her fight & strength from. I was often told that there were times I would look very much like her depending on how I wore my makeup to a certain expression. This was a great compliment to me. She shared her heart with everyone around her all the way to the very end. She also knew when let her feisty side loose. Needless to say, my grandma was one tough cookie! Grandma, you will be sorely missed. I love you!
