Betty Sue Nichols, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
Services will be 1:30 pm Friday, January 5, 2018 at Bellmead
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will be at Waco
Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the
funeral home.
Betty was born January 10, 1935 in Princeton, Kentucky to
Martin M. and Karrie Hazel (McCallistar) Pollard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James A.
Nichols; son, Carl W. (Sparky) Slimp; grandson, Jason Smith; sister, Paulette
McGee; brothers, Bill Pollard and James (Jim) Pollard.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Jackson and husband,
Mike of Glen Rose and Sherry Golding and husband, Karl of Winnsboro, TX; son,
James (Jim) A. Nichols Jr. and wife Paula of Axtell, TX; sisters, Lucy Smith
and husband, Kendall of Vidor, TX and Jeanette Corbin of Albuquerque, NM;
grandchildren, Heather Nichols, Charissa Jost, Nathan Daniell, Chris McKee,
Kevin Jordan, Shanna Goodwin, Shane Whittington and Cody Whittington; and 17
great-grandchildren.

Aunt Betty was always sweet and kind to me and I enjoyed your Dad and Mom's visit so much when I was so much younger. I think about all of you often. I'm keeping all of you in my prayers. Wish I could see you again but can't be at the funeral. Love to all. I'll miss Aunt Betty. God Bless.
