Paul Odell Waters, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 6, 2018
at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Schulz officiating.
Paul was born April 10, 1956 in Houston, Texas to L.M. and
Christene (Jayroe) Waters. He married Yvonne Fry on July 6, 1985. He attended
International Business School and McLennan Community College. He was a school
bus driver in Lubbock, Texas for several years and was a rancher. Paul was employed
at Bellmead Wal Mart almost 20 years until retiring. He loved hunting, fishing,
boating, camping and hiking. He was an avid Star Wars enthusiast and hosted 4 exchange
families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-son, Keith
Waters; his father-in-law, Winfield Fry; and several loving aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Waters; daughter,
Stephanie Waters; his son, Brandon Trey Waters and wife, Megan; his
grandchildren, Nolan Waters and Elizabeth Waters; 1 brother; his mother-in-law,
Jane Fry; his aunt, Joyce Aldridge; his uncle, Leroy Barrier; his cousin, Ricky
Barrier; several nieces and nephews; many good friends; and his loving dog and
companion, Lady.
