Margaret Nell Owens, passed away Saturday November 25, 2017.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday, November 27,
2017 at Fort Parker Cemetery in Groesbeck, Texas. Visitation will be 4 to 6
p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Mrs. Owens was born August 31, 1933 in Mexia, Texas to
Willie Albert and Erma (Richards) Speer. She worked at Connally High School for
37 years, Kestner's Department Store for 30 years and Lacy Lakeview Baptist
Church Nursery for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother,
Albert Speer.
Survivors include her, sons, William Owens and wife, Dorothy
and Joseph Owens; her granddaughter, Shana Owens; 3 great grandchildren, Allen
Jr. and wife, Michelle, Alaina and Aliva; her sister-in-law, Bobbie Speer; and
her cousins, James, Billy and Riley "Jr." Richards.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary
Catholic Church, Homeless Ministries. in Waco, Texas.
