Orphie (Mae) Robert Cantrell, age 97, passed away Monday
November 13, 2017 in a Houston hospital. A graveside service will be held 2:00
p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Calvary Cemetery, corner of Johnson and
Fortune Streets, in Marlin, Texas.
Orphie was born July 21, 1920 in Marlin, the daughter of
Joseph and Olga Robert.
She is survived by her daughters, Vera Cantrell and Bettie
Amendt; son, Freddie Cantrell; sister, Lucille Witt; brothers, James Robert,
Gene Robert, J.D. Robert and Jerry Robert; three grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
A reception will follow the graveside service at the First Baptist Church 301 Edwards St. Riesel, Texas 76683.
