Jerry R. Prikryl, age 89, passed away Wednesday, September
27, 2017. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30,
2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellmead with Rev. Matthew Hardaway
officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday,
September 29, 2017 at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Jerry was born December 15, 1927 in Penelope, Texas the son
of R. J. and Nora (Straminska) Prikryl. He served in the United States Army
during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion. Jerry
retired from General Tire in 1984 after 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his twin daughters;
brother, Gilbert Prikryl and nephew, Lance Prikryl.
Survivors include his wife, Frances N. Prikryl; sons, David
Prikryl and wife, Karen and Dale Prikryl; brothers, Thomas Prikryl and wife,
Ann and Patrick Prikryl and wife, Brenda; sister in law, Florine Reinke; five
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Paul
Lutheran Church, 1301 Hogan Lane, Waco, Texas 76705.
