Norma was
born December 6, 1944 in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of T. C. and Nina G.
(Lightfoot) Hollums. She married Cecil Glen Carter on February 26, 1966 in
Floydada, Texas and he preceded her in death on June 23, 1986. She was a
graduate of Floydada High School, attended Hill Junior College in Hillsboro graduated
from beauty college in Lubbock. She worked as secretary to the assistant chief
appraiser of McLennan County for twenty years. Norma was a member of Evergreen
Baptist Church.
Norma
married Dwight Mullins on June 16, 1990 in Axtell and he survives her. She is
also survived by her children and their spouses, Thomas Glen and Melissa
Carter, Jeffrey Blaine Carter, Johnny Wayne and Amber Carter, Douglas Allen and
Helena Huse, Michael Cory and Miranda Mullins and Steely Delynn Mullins Clark;
grandchildren, Cecil Ross, Madison Kay, Mabrey Anne, Lainey Grace, James, Sean,
Keri, Holley, Caleb, Ethan, Hannah, Trenton, Jayden and Mason; and her dog, Emmitt.
In lieu of
flowers memorials can be made to the Evergreen Baptist Church Building Fund,
