Vero Beach, FL Tuesday, September 26, 2017 Karl, my best friend, and my brother came into my life at the tender age of 5 years old. Margaret and Bill Mosier gave our family this blessing I remember him playing endlessly with little green plastic soldiers, he liked sugar on his beans, and he never could stay up and watch the scary movies with me, so many memories to list. We grew up together experience everything we could get into, Karl was always by my side.My life feels so empty right now. I miss his kindness, his support and humor. Karl was always there if I needed someone to talk to or needed someone to make me laugh. I hope that everyone reading this will take the time to think about all of the fond memories they had with Karl. He may be gone but his memory will live on with us forever.
I take comfort knowing you have no more pain, yet I am selfish and self-centered enough to want you here with me. Yours was a bright and shining star that burned out so soon. You never met a stranger, and I miss that quick smile and laugh. I love you, Karl forever and a day.
I will miss my brother more than words can say. We should all be thankful for knowing him and for his time on earth. I hope that everyone here remembers how wonderful a person he was and that his memory will continue to live on in our hearts and minds.
"Oh, Heavenly Father, we pray for strength for this difficult time and for these difficult moments. Teach us acceptance of what we cannot understand. Teach us the understanding of what we cannot change. For our lives, dear God, are in your good hands. You give life, and sustain life, and grant eternal life. You and You alone, know us individually in our depths. You and You alone, know the sorrow in our hearts. Keep us, comfort us, and surround us with the love and presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who loves us and so holds our beloved Karl before your Holy Throne. We thank you, Father, even though clouded eyes and thoughts Your Son our beloved Karl lives in Your Eternal Heavenly Kingdom. Amen."
