Dorothy Louise Mayfield, passed away Saturday, June 24,
2017.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at
Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 30,
2017 at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born April 23, 1927 in Bruceville Eddy, Texas to
J. S. and Bessie (Miracle) Young. She received a Barbers Degree from University
of Texas. She and her husband Dave Mayfield owned and operated Mayfield's
Barber Shop in Bellmead for over 50 years. She sold Avon for over 30 years and
was a homemaker.
Survivors include her grandchildren, David Mayfield, Joshua Mayfield, Jennifer Mayfield and Austin Mayfield; and her great-grandchildren, Lillian Mayfield, Brayden Mayfield, Stella Mayfield, Kaison Mayfield and Luciano Depolito.
