Henry Odis Veselka, 89, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 2, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellmead. Burial with military honors provided by the West V.F.W. will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in West. Visitation will be 6 to 7 pm Friday, February 3, 2017 with Rosary to follow at 7 pm at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Henry was born March 23, 1927 in Elk, Texas to Charlie H. and Mary (Pustjovsky) Veselka. He served in the Air Force for 21 years until retiring and farmed and ranched all his life. He enjoyed gardening and traveling. Henry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion in West. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Jimbo and Alfonce; a sister, Martha; his first wife, Dorothy Alice Rivers Veselka on August 5, 1995; and a grandson, Bo Blancett. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Veselka; his daughters, Shirley Clarke and husband, Alan and Theresa Cooper and husband, Mike; step-children, Patsy Mussman and James Smith; his sister, Rose Black; brother, Fred Veselka and wife, Irene; grandchildren; Cortney Clarke, Christopher Clarke, April Blancett, Paige Henry-Butcher, Tamera Mussman and Kimberly Mussman; great-grandchildren, Mason Blancett, Evan Blancett, Sheridan Torrez and Tristan Torrez; and several nieces and nephews.

I remember all the Friday nights at Geneva hall and wanting to go back behind the bar like you and papa Ben Pustejovsky and i would get to sit there with yall and get spoiled rotten by both of you!!
