Maricela Castro
June 17, 1965 - March 24, 2024

Maricela Castillo Castro, age 58, passed from this life on Sunday, March 24, 2024, to be with her Lord and Savior.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, April 1st at Bellmead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 2nd at 1 p.m. at Greater Waco Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rosemound Cemetery under the direction of Bellmead Funeral Home.
Maricela was born in El Charquillo, Nuevo Leon in Mexico on June 17, 1965, to Leopoldo and Teresa (Torres) Castillo. She and Gustavo Castro were married on February 23, 1979, in Dr. Arroyo, Mexico. Maricela and Gustavo moved to Waco in 1987. Maricela loved cooking, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and serving her family. She was a member of Greater Waco Baptist Church where she loved sharing Christ and inviting anyone to church.
Maricela is preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Torres Castillo; her father, Leopoldo Castillo.
She is survived by her husband, Gustavo; her children, Gus Castro and wife, Stacy; Heriberto Castro; Patricia Romero and husband, Adam; Melinda Miller and husband, Anthony; Angel Castro; her grandchildren Emily Montoya, Abraham Castro, Ariana Castro, Avah Castro, Bethany Castro, Cassidy Castro, Elliot Castro, Dazie Romero, Natalin Romero, Bryson Miller, Felicity Castro, and McKenna Miller.
She also leaves a great host of family and friends; she will be greatly missed.
